Elliot has developed material on Options Pricing, Volatility and Strategies and wrote numerous articles for CBOE publications, some of which were excerpted in Barron’s and Investors’ Business Daily. He’s been involved in the stock and options markets since 1983. Early in his career, he had roles as a firm options strategist, proprietary trader and institutional options broker. Later, while at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, he trained public and institutional traders. Elliot also wrote two chapters for “Options: Essential Concepts and Trading Strategies” published by the CBOE – Chapter 1: The History of Options and Chapter 4: Options Strategies. He has coached for many programs in group settings and on a one-on-one basis.
