Najarian Brothers See Unusual Option Activity in $ADI, $UNG, $QCOM, $LOW, & $HD

On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $ADI, $UNG, $QCOM, $LOW, and $HD plus updates on $LB and $KHC.

Jon is seeing unusual activity in $ADI as traders purchased 5,160 of the January $115 calls for $2.90 to $3.10. Jon bought these calls and plans to be in them for most of the month.

Jon also sees unusual activity in $UNG, where traders were buying 11,000 of the January $20 calls for $1.23 to $1.29. Jon also bought these and noted the possibility of a cold front lifting the price of natural gas.

Jon lastly updated his trade in $LB from last week, and noted that the calls have moved to the upside. Jon also updated his trade in $KHC from noting the trade was cut for a loss.

Pete sees unusual activity in $QCOM, where traders bought up 4,000 of the 29November $86 calls for $0.30 to $0.37. Pete bought these calls.

Pete is also seeing unusual activity in $LOW as traders purchased 6,732 of the April $125 calls for $3.75 as part of a bullish spread and roll. Pete bought these calls and plans to be in them until about April.

Lastly, Pete sees unusual activity in $HD as traders purchased 5,300 of the 29November $222.50 calls for $0.15 to $0.40. Pete bought these calls and noted he liked the “cheap shot.”
