On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $DIS and $XLU, plus an update on $HPQ.
In $DIS, traders are buying 6,800 of the 22November $135 calls for $1.85 to $2.05. Jon bought these calls and will be in them for about a two weeks, noting the company reports earnings tomorrow after the closing bell.
In $XLU, traders are bearish and bought 21,000 of the December $62 puts for $0.93. Jon bought these puts as well, planning to be in them for about a month.
Jon also updated a trade in $HPQ from yesterday, noting that prescient call buyers were able to turn a 21x profit overnight.
