Najarian Brothers See Unusual Option Activity in $FXI, $AEM, $XLI & $BAC

On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $FXI, $AEM, $XLI and $BAC.

Jon is seeing unusual activity in $FXI, as traders purchased 10,000 of the November $39 calls for $1.35. The trade breaks even when shares of the FXI reach $40.35, and Jon noted that he’ll be in the trade for about a couple of months.

Jon is also seeing unusual bearish activity in $AEM, as traders purchased 10,000 of the November $55 puts for $2.40 to $2.55. Jon also bought these puts, planning to be in them for around two months as well.

Pete is seeing unusual bearish activity in $XLI, as traders purchased 5,000 of the 30August $72 puts for $1.13 as part of a bearish roll. Pete bought these puts.

Also, Pete sees unusual activity in $BAC, as traders purchased more than 12,000 of the October $28 calls from $0.69 to $0.72. Pete owns BAC stock and used the bullish activity as an opportunity to sell the calls against his existing position, illustrating the creativity that can be achieved with options.
