On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $GDX, $KWEB, $NWL and $X.
Pete is seeing unusual activity in $GDX, as traders purchased 25,000 of the August $28 calls for $0.58, as part of both a bullish roll and spread. The trade breaks even with the stock at $28.58. Pete bought these calls and noted the activity that his been hitting, rightfully, time and time again since late May and early June.
Pete is also seeing unusual activity in $KWEB, as traders purchased 5,700 of the August $45.74 calls for $0.75 to $0.95, as part of a bullish roll. The trade breaks even with the stock around $46.75. Pete bought these calls and will be in them for the better part of a month.
Jon sees unusual activity in $NWL, as traders purchased 8,300 of the August $14 calls for $1.50 to $1.70, just in the money. The trade breaks even when NWL reaches $15.70 or so, and Jon bought these calls.
Jon is also seeing unusual activity in $X, as traders purchased around 5,200 of the 12July $15 calls for $0.39 to $0.41. Jon bought these calls as well.
