On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $JD, $MSFT $MRO and $VMW.
Pete sees unusual activity in JD, where 5,000 of the September $38 calls were bought for 2.15. Pete owns JD calls but likes the continuation of bullish activity in the name.
Pete is seeing unusual activity in MSFT, as 4,000 of the 29June $97 calls were bought for 3.24 and 4,000 of the 29June 97.50 calls were bought for 2.91 as part of a complex spread. Pete bought these calls and turned them into a spread.
Jon is seeing unusual option activity in MRO, where around 14,000 of the January $23 calls were bought from 1.80-2.00. Jon bought these calls and plans to hold them for a couple weeks.
Jon Najarian also sees unusual activity in VMW, noting that 2,500 of the July $150 calls were bought for 3.80. Jon bought these calls and plans to hold them for four to six weeks.
