On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $YELP, $V and $ORCL.
Jon sees unusual activity in YELP, where 5,000 of the February $35 calls were bought for 2.44 to 2.45. Jon bought these calls, noting that the December $40 calls were also bought, ahead of these, and that he plans to be in the February trade for about a month.
Jon is also seeing seeing unusual activity in V, as traders purchased 13,000 of the December $145 calls for 2.54 as part of a bullish spread. Jon bought these calls and will be in them from two weeks to a month.
Jon also updated on PCG, where the recent California wildfires have sent the shares down sharply in the past few days. Less than two weeks ago, Investitute’s market scanners discovered an unusual trade of puts being bought, which returned over 11x today.
Pete sees unusual activity in ORCL in the form of 5,600 30November $50 calls being bought from 0.85 to 0.98. Pete bought these calls, noting they expire before the company reports earnings in December.
