On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $DB and $VXX.
Traders were buying up about 10,500 of the June $17 calls in DB, from 0.60-0.65. Jon jumped in these and plans to hold for about a month.
Jon also saw unusual option activity in VXX, where traders were buying puts, notably 5,000 of the 29March $33 puts from 0.11-0.12. Jon owns VXX puts and says he probably won’t cover until VXX gets down to 42.
