On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $EA and $AA.
Jon is seeing unusual activity in EA, where traders were buying 7,000 of the 24August $134 calls from 1.00 to 1.18. Jon bought these calls and will likely be in them for about a month, citing that the $134 and $135 calls in several months have been purchased in unusually high volumes. EA was also Pete Najarian’s final trade on the Halftime Report, Wednesday.
Jon also sees unusual bullish activity in AA, where over 15,000 of the 24August $45 calls were purchased for 0.52 to 0.60. Jon bought these calls, plans to hold them for about a week, and again noted multiple strikes and expirations being purchased today.
