On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $GOV and $COG.
Jon is seeing unusual activity in GOV, where traders were buying 14,100 of the December $12.50 calls for 0.25. Jon bought these calls and cited that its intraday move of over 4% was a bit unusual as bond rates rise, given the stock is a REIT. He will cut his position if the value of the calls drops by half, otherwise he’ll be in them for several weeks.
Jon also sees unusual bullish activity in COG, where 1,000 of the November $27 calls were purchased for 0.30 to 0.40. Jon bought these calls as well, and will utilize the same discipline, cutting the position should the calls’ value drop by half.
