On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $JD and $ANGI.
In $JD, traders are buying up 5,000 of the January $35 calls for $0.75 as part of a bullish spread. Jon bought these calls, plans to hold them for two to three months, and notes the benefits of options as a way to get long the underlying stock, for far less, as these options are priced roughly 1/35th the cost of JD stock at current levels.
In $ANGI, traders are buying up 2,500 of the November $12.50 calls for $0.20 to $0.25. Jon also bought these calls and turned the trade into a spread, planning to be in the trade for two months.
