On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $MDLZ and $SLV, plus an update on $JD.
In $MDLZ, traders are buying up 10,000 of the September $57.50 calls for $0.32 to $0.41. Jon bought these calls, plans to hold them for about a month, and noted that Morgan Stanley upped its price target on the shares to $62 last week.
In $SLV, traders are buying up nearly 12,000 of the October $18.50 calls for $0.13 to $0.16. Jon also bought these calls.
Jon also updated his position in $JD, from August 9, noting that those calls have returned more than 70% today, as the company reports earnings, beating on its top and bottom lines.
