On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $SEAS and $FCX.
Jon is seeing unusual activity in SEAS, where traders were buying 15,000 of the 05October $31.50 calls for 1.35 as part of a bullish roll, from the September $29.50 strike. Jon bought these calls and plans to hold them for a few weeks.
Jon also sees unusual bullish activity in FCX, where 4,100 of the September $13.50 calls were purchased for 0.18 to 0.26. Jon bought these calls as well and Jim noted that it is an interesting contrarian play on China. In the afternoon session those FCX calls had already doubled from their purchase prices, with a weaker Dollar.
