On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $TER and $HLT.
Jon is seeing unusual activity in TER, where traders were buying 5,200 of the January $33 calls for 2.55 to 2.80. Jon bought these calls and cited that the trade may be a play on the underlying equity putting in a double bottom. Jon intends to hold these calls for around two months.
Jon also sees unusual bullish activity in HLT, where 5,000 of the November $72.50 calls were purchased for 1.80 to 1.95. Jon bought these calls as well, and will utilize the same discipline as TER, cutting the position should the calls’ value drop by half.
