RPP – This Week’s Names Wrap 8-14

Hey Rebels! It was a mostly positive week for the major indexes, although the market felt relatively quiet and a little heavy at times.

$SPY hit another record high on Thursday before pulling back some to finish the week. $QQQ also had a strong move higher, but tech and semiconductor names gave some back today. $DIA was a little quieter, while $IWM held up well as small caps continued to show some strength.

The VIX is finishing the week in the mid-14s, keeping volatility relatively low.

$BTC had a softer week, slipping back toward the $63,000 area after starting the week above $65,000.

Overall, the broader trend still looks strong, but with the indexes sitting near record highs and some selling showing up into Friday, it remains a market where being selective matters.

ZS ran very nicely for an awesome upside score. 

AMZN and GOOGL slid lower for downside opportunities.

PLTR moved higher for a single.

When not holding strong opinions, we normally close out entirely and start next week fresh.

When holding strong opinions, roll out in time and to a lower delta option.

When still wishing to have somewhat of a lean, close half and roll out half to a lower delta position.
