Pete is seeing unusual activity in BABA, as traders bought 5,000 of the 12July $175 calls for $2.16 to $2.33. Pete bought these calls, noting to viewers that turning the trade into a spread can capture upside, albeit limited, while lessening the cost of the option outright.
Jon sees unusual activity in ASHR, as traders purchased 5,000 of the 05July $28 calls for $0.34. Jon bought these calls as well.
Pete then updated trades in both MU and RIG from yesterday, noting that those calls have performed today, and that discipline dictates trimming the positions.
Pete also updated KWEB, which he noted on June 3, as those calls have nearly doubled today.
