On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $BMY, $UNG, $AMD and $BBBY.
Pete is seeing unusual activity in $BMY as traders purchased 10,500 of the June $60 calls for $0.96 to $0.98. Pete owns a position in BMY currently, but the paper has given him confidence to remain in the trade and potentially roll-out in the future.
Pete is also seeing unusual activity in $UNG, as traders purchased more than 18,000 of the November $21 calls for $0.87 to $0.95. Pete also bought these calls and will hold onto them for about three to four weeks.
Jon sees unusual bullish activity in $AMD, as traders purchased more than 6,000 of the October $30.50 calls for $0.54 as part of a bullish roll. Jon owns an AMD position, and added to it.
Lastly, Jon is seeing unusually bearish activity in $BBBY, as traders purchased 9,420 of the 04October $12 puts for $1.80. Jon owns these puts and expects to be in them through the end of the week.
