On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $FB, $RCL and $HLT.
Pete sees unusual activity in FB, where 4,400 of the 05October $175 calls were bought for 0.37 to 0.63. Pete jumped on these calls and plans to hold them for the next week. Those calls nearly tripled in value just hours after their initial purchase.
Jon is seeing unusual activity in RCL, as traders purchased 5,000 of the March $140 calls for 3.70 to 3.75 as part of a bullish spread. Jon bought these calls and turned them into a spread, and will be in the trade from one to two months.
Jon also sees bullish unusual activity in the form of 12,540 January $82.50 calls being bought for for 3.10 as part of a bullish spread. Jon took this trade as well and plans to hold through the upcoming earnings cycle.
