On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $FCX, $LB, and $MDT, plus an update on $PAAS.
Jon is seeing unusual activity in $FCX, as traders purchased 11,000 of the November $12 calls for $0.56 to $0.64. The trade breaks even when shares of Freeport reach about $12.60, and Jon bought these calls, planning to be in the trade for several months.
Jon is also seeing unusual activity in $LB, as traders purchased 6,300 of the 23August $29 calls for $0.60 to $0.65. Jon bought these calls as well and plans to hold them for about a month.
Pete is seeing unusual activity in $MDT, as traders purchased 5,400 of the August $105 calls from $0.22 to $0.37. Pete bought these calls.
Lastly, Pete updated a trade in $PAAS from June 5, noting that those calls have continued to perform on the upside, and that he is now out of the trade.
