Najarian Brothers See Unusual Option Activity in $MRK, $NRG & $FSLR

On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $MRK, $NRG and $FSLR.

Pete is seeing unusual activity in MRK, as nearly 8,000 of the August $62.50 calls were bought for around 1.80. Pete owns MRK stock and views the call buying as confirmation in his long position.

Jon sees unusual activity in NRG, were traders purchased around 4,000 of the 22June $34.50 calls from 0.36-0.42. Jon bought these calls and notes he will likely be in them through the end of the week, but not through to expiration.

Jon also sees unusual activity in FSLR, where about 2,700 of the August $60 calls were bought from 2.10-2.39. Jon bought these calls and plans to hold them for about a month.
