Najarian Brothers See Unusual Option Activity in $XLE & $SFIX

On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $XLE and $SFIX.

Pete is seeing unusual activity in XLE, as 10,000 of the October $76 calls were bought for 0.56 to 0.58. Pete owns XOM and CVX, 38% of the ETF’s components by weight, and noted that this trade follows unusual bullish activity found yesterday in the XLE November $77 calls.

Jon is seeing unusual option activity in SFIX, where 10,000 of the October $55 calls were bought for 3.20 as part of a bullish roll-up from the October $47 calls, which had more than doubled since the trade was put on. Jon bought these calls.

Jon also provided an update on unusual activity in SNE, at the September $55 strike, which he cited August 18. Those calls more than quadrupled in value today.
