On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon and Pete Najarian are seeing unusual option activity in $XOP, $XBI and $CMCSA.
Pete sees unusual activity in XOP, where 13,300 of the June $33 puts were bought for 2.87 as part of a bearish spread. Pete bought these puts and turned them into a spread, citing that if crude were to break through a lower band of support, it would help to deliver upside conditions to these puts.
Jon is seeing seeing unusual activity in XBI, as traders purchased 7,000 of the November $75 puts for 1.85 as part of a bearish roll. Jon bought these puts and plans to hold them from two to three weeks.
Jon also sees bullish unusual activity in CMCSA in the form of 7,000 09November $38.50 calls being bought for 0.33. Jon bought these calls and plans to be in them for about two weeks.
