On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Pete Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $X & $AMD.
In X, traders are buying up 2,000 the 22March 21.50 calls for $0.13 as part of a bullish combo, selling an equivalent amount of downside puts. Pete bought these calls.
In AMD, traders bought over 6,000 of the March 22.50 calls for $0.36 to $0.56. Pete bought these calls and will be in them through the end of the week.
Pete also updated a trade in MLNX from Feb. 19, which his brother Jon had noted at the time, stating that with news that Nvidia (NVDA) is buying the former, those calls today had nearly tripled from their purchase price.
