Options expected to have increasing volume: VAR HSBC AIG CLX CLR KLAC TTWO SPCE KSU

Virgin Galactic (SPCE) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 136, August is at 114; compared to its 52-week range of 39 to 237 into expected release of quarter results today after the bell. Call put ratio 1.9 calls to 1 put.

Varian (VAR) 30-day option implied volatility is at 44; compared to it 52-week range of 21 to 71 into announcing combining with Siemens Healthineers in $16.4B all-cash transaction.

Railroad Transportation IV after WSJ says PE firms discussing bid for KSU

Kansas City Southern (KSU) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 33 August is at 34; compared to its 52-week range of 18 to 82 after WSJ says PE firms discussing bid. Call put ratio 3 calls to 1 put with focus on August calls.

CSX Corp. (CSX) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 27, August is at 23; compared to its 52-week range of 17 to 96 after WSJ says PE firms discussing bid for Kansas City Southern (KSU).

Norfolk Southern (NSC) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 25, August is at 26; compared to its 52-week range of 20 to 85.

Union Pacific (UNP) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 31, August is at 27; compared to its 52-week range of 18 to 82.

Pinterest (PINS) August weekly option implied volatility is at 88, August is at 70; compared to its 52-week range of 38 to 154 as shares rally 36%. Call put ratio 2.6 calls to 1 put.

Beyond Meat (BYND) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 126, August is at 90; compared to its 52-week range of 47 to 130 into expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 4.

HSBC Holdings (HSBC) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 46, August is at 34; compared to its 52-week range of 14 to 100 into lower financial outlook. Call put ratio 9 calls to 1 put with focus on August weekly (7) 23 calls.

Marathon Petroleum (MPO) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 66, August is at 79; compared to its 52-week range of 30 to 269 into to sell gas-station chain to 7-Eleven owners, WSJ reports. Call put ratio 4.2 calls to 1 put with focus on September 8 calls. Quarter result are expected on August 5.

Gold near $2000

Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 40, August is at 42; compared to its 52-week range of 22 to 158. Call put ratio 2.5 calls to 1 put as gold at to $1999.

Market Vector Junior Gold Miners Etf (GDXJ) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 47, August is at 51; compared to its 52-week range of 25 to 151. Call put ratio 1.7 calls to 1 put as gold trades $1999.

SPDR Gold Trust (GLD) August weekly call option implied volatility is at 22, August is at 22; compared to its 52-week range of 9 to 44. Call put ratio 3.1 calls to 1 put.

Ishares Silver Trust (SLV) August weekly option implied volatility is at 58, August is at 54; compared to its 52-week range of 14 to 94. Call put ratio 3.4 calls to 1 put. Silver is recently up 1%.

Straddle prices for stocks expected to report quarterly results this week

Cirrus (CRUS) August weekly 68.50 straddle priced for a move of 9% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Continental Resources (CLR) August weekly 17.50 straddle priced for a move of 12% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Hyatt Hotels (H) August 50 straddle priced for a move of 12% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

KLA Corp (KLAC) August weekly 200 straddle priced for a move of 7% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

American International Group (AIG) August weekly 32 straddle priced for a move of 7% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Take-Two Interactive (TTWO) August weekly 165 straddle priced for a move of 8% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Virgin Galactic (SPCE) August weekly 22.5 straddle priced for a move of 14% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Beyond Meat (BYND) August weekly 126 straddle priced for a move of 14% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 4.

BP PLC (BP) August weekly 22 straddle priced for a move of 4.5% into the expected release of quarter results on August 4.

Hertz Global (HTZ) August weekly 1.5 straddle priced for a move of 15% into the expected release of quarter results on August 4.

Monster Beverage (MNST) August weekly 78 straddle priced for a move of 9% into the expected release of quarter results on August 4.

Match Group (MTCH) August weekly 103 straddle priced for a move of 9% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 4.

Ralph Lauren (RL) August 70 straddle priced for a move of 12% into the expected release of quarter results before the bell on August 4.

Sony (SNE) August weekly 78 straddle priced for a move of 6% into the expected release of quarter results on August 4.

Walt Disney (DIS) August weekly 117 straddle priced for a move of 4.55% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 4.

Warner Music (WMG) August 30 straddle priced for a move of 10% into the expected release of quarter results on August 4.

Wynn Resorts (WYNN) August weekly 72.50 straddle priced for a move of 9% into the expected release of quarter results on August 4.

3D Systems (DDD) August weekly 6.5 straddle priced for a move of 14% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 5.

Ballard Power Systems (BLDP) August 14 straddle priced for a move of 20% into the expected release of quarter results on August 5.

Camping World (CWH) August 37 straddle priced for a move of 20% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 5.

Capri (CPRI) August weekly 150 straddle priced for a move of 13% into the expected release of quarter results before the bell on August 5.

CVS Health (CVS) August weekly 63 straddle priced for a move of 6% into the expected release of quarter results before the bell on August 5.

Fastly (FSLY) August weekly 96.50 straddle priced for a move of 20% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 5.

Hostess Brands (TWNK) August 12.50 straddle priced for a move of 6.5% into the expected release of quarter results after the bell on August 5.
