Index and ETF option IV near low end of range after FOMC

SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) 30-day option implied volatility is at 16; compared to its 52-week range of 15 to 56.

PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQ) 30-day option implied volatility is at 23; compared to its 52-week range of 22 to 40.

iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) 30-day option implied volatility is at 20; compared to its 52-week range of 20 to 38. Call put ratio 1 call to 2.3 puts.

ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) 30-day option implied volatility is at 48; compared to its 52-week range of 18 to 91.

Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) 30-day option implied volatility is at 17; compared to its 52-week range of 18 to 39. Call put ratio 1 call to 1.7 puts.

Market Vectors Semiconductor ETF (SMH) 30-day option implied volatility is at 30; compared to its 52-week range of 29 to 49. Call put ratio 1 call to 1.5 puts.

Devon Energy (DVN) 30-day option implied volatility is at 43; compared to its 52-week range of 39 to 70. Call put ratio 2.3 calls to 1 put as shares pull back.
Straddle prices into quarter results

Apple (AAPL) February weekly 145 straddle priced for a move of 4.5% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Alphabet (GOOG) February weekly 101 straddle priced for a move of 6% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Amazon (AMZN) February weekly 105 straddle priced for a move of 8% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell. Call put ratio 2.3 calls to 1 put.

Qualcomm (QCOM) February weekly 138 straddle priced for a move of 6.5% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Starbucks (SBUX) February weekly 110 straddle priced for a move of 5.5% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Ford (F) February weekly 14 straddle priced for a move of 7% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

United States Steel (X) February weekly 29.50 straddle priced for a move of 8% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

MicroStrategy (MSTR) February weekly 267 straddle priced for a move of 8% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Canada Goose (GOOS) February weekly 25 straddle priced for a move of 14% into the expected release of quarter results today before the bell.

Skechers (SKX) February weekly 49 straddle priced for a move of 8% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell. Call put ratio 1 call to 7.9 puts.

GoPro (GPRO) February weekly 6.5 straddle priced for a move of 12% into the expected release of quarter results today after the bell.

Cigna (CI) February weekly 312.50 straddle priced for a move of 4.5% into the expected release of quarter results before the bell on February 3.
