S&P Dep Receipts (SPY) March and April call option implied volatility is at 11; compared to its 52-week range of 8 to 32 into quadruple witching, North Korea nuclear headlines, FOMC policy meeting and clarity on trade negotiations.
SPY 30-day option implied volatility is near its lowest levels since October, 2018.
Facebook (FB) March call option implied volatility is at 24, April is at 23; compared to its 52-week range of 20 to 53 into Chris Daniels and Chris Cox are leaving the company.
Boeing (BA) March call option implied volatility is at 37, April is at 31; compared to its 52-week range of 19 to 46 after U.S. grounds Boeing 737 Max. BA call put ratio 1 to 1 on 239K contracts
Tesla (TSLA) March weekly call option implied volatility is at 73, April is at 53; compared to its 52-week range of 38 to 87 into unveils Model Y, a mid-size SUV.
Option implied volatility is the volatility the options market is pricing for the future.
General Electric (GE) March call option implied volatility is at 59, April is at 34; compared to its 52-week range of into 21 to 72 after investor update.
