Raoul Pal: Why Bitcoin May 10X-20X In The Next Three Years

Raoul Pal, Co-Founder and CEO of Real Vision, spoke with Market Rebellion to share his views on the current economy, Q.E., and the state of precious metals and Bitcoin. Most notably, Pal commented he is ‘irresponsibly long’ Bitcoin.

Market Rebellion: “With all the helicopter money being thrown at the market and Paul Tudor Jones going long Bitcoin, what is your view on Bitcoin, Gold and other precious metals?”

Pal: “We have two potential environments, an inflationary and deflationary, the beautiful thing is that Bitcoin and Gold work for both scenarios, it’s the perfect trade. Doesn’t mean there won’t be ups and downs in between.”

Many agree Gold and Bitcoin will perform well as hard assets during an inflationary environment, however Pal argues that Bitcoin and Gold will succeed in deflationary environments as well. Pal went on to state, “The minute the economy becomes deflationary, the Fed will act by printing more money.” While Bitcoin remains a more volatile financial instrument as opposed to Gold, its performance over the next market cycle seems promising.
