February 28: NHL- Boston Bruins vs Calgary Flames
The Bruins helped us two weeks ago and we think they’ll do it again tonight.
They’ll be facing the Calgary Flames, a team that saw a lot of change in the off-season and have struggled to find their footing since.
Our reasoning for tonight’s bet is similar to two weeks ago — the Bruins are a machine, they’ve only gotten better with the trade deadline approaching and they score so many goals their own goalie is doing it now.
We don’t even need to think about it with the spread at +200.

March 4: UFC- Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane
Bones Jones makes his return to the octagon this weekend after a three-year absence. For the first time in his career, he’s fighting in the Heavyweight division and it’s against the No. 1 ranked Ciryl Gane.
Despite his extended absence from the UFC, Jones is a -165 favorite and Gane stands as a +140 underdog. It makes sense, as Jones is 20-1 in his UFC career and has arm and leg reach advantage.
However, Gane is a monster with a hard chin who doesn’t go down easily. He lands almost one strike more per minute than Jones and has a significant strike percentage of 59.
Jones has the advantage when it comes to takedown defense and his legs can still be lethal. However, he hasn’t fought in a long time and Gane is a tough opponent.
We’ll take recent experience over legacy for this fight.
