The first week of March Madness was exactly that – madness. Upsets galore, broken parlays and crying cheerleaders! Our Alabama future is still alive as they remain one of the few No. 1 seeds remaining. Let’s try to make some profit as we await final results.
March 23: NCAAB- Gonzaga vs UCLA
Night 1 of the Sweet 16 concludes with No. 3 Gonzaga facing No. 2 UCLA. The spread stands at 1 for each team with UCLA being the favorite.
We’re going to avoid trying to pick a winner here, as we see the result going either way. But the over/ under stands out to us. It’s currently listed at 145.5 and that’s a juicy line for those who have paid attention to the O/U in the first two rounds.
If you thought there were a lot of low-scoring games in the first few days, you’d be correct. The under has hit in 67% of tournament games so far this year, according to BetMGM’s John Ewing.
UCLA has one of the country’s best interior defenses. Gonzaga’s defense leaves something to be desired, but UCLA is reportedly dealing with injuries to Jaylen Clark and David Singleton. If those two are fighting through injuries, it could hamper that explosive offense.
145 is also a lot of points. We’ll bet on the scoring trend to continue tonight.

March 24: NCAAB- San Diego State vs Alabama
Alabama is a wagon right now. While other No. 1 seeds have struggled or outright lost (hello, Purdue) in this tournament, they’ve looked like they’re ready for a National Championship.
Surprise, surprise- we’re riding with them again. Tonight, we’re parlaying their ML along with Jahvon Quinerly Over 12.5 points.
The moneyline is a no-brainer to us. We don’t expect Alabama’s championship dreams to be dashed by a No. 5 seed.
As an odds boost, we’re adding Quinerly’s points prop. He played just one minute in the Round of 64 before exploding for 33 minutes and 22 points in the Round of 32.
Over 12.5 points is certainly possible for him on Friday, and we’ll take that chance to get our odds in plus territory.
