May 25: NHL- Vegas Golden Knights vs Dallas Stars
The Florida Panthers swept the Carolina Hurricanes last night and tonight we’re predicting the Vegas Golden Knights will do the same against the Dallas Stars.
Vegas (-105) dominated Dallas in the first 10 minutes of Game 3, effectively putting the game out of reach by the time the clock struck zero at the end of the first period. Stars fans were throwing trash on the ice and booing by the time the game (mercifully) ended and we don’t expect things to improve too much for them tonight.
Dallas lost captain Jamie Benn for the next two games due to suspension and goalie questions surround the team. This is a team that just looked flat last game and Vegas is flying high.
A team is always most dangerous when facing elimination, but Vegas has been the stronger team for most of the series (minus Game 2) and if they can play as tight as they did on Tuesday then we’ll have our Stanley Cup Final teams set by the end of the night.
Rebel’s Pick: VGK ML (-105) @ 1U
May 25: NBA- Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat
Vegas continues to disrespect the Miami Heat and we’re here to benefit.
The Celtics currently stand at 8-point favorites, and we’ll be taking the Heat spread (-105).
After going up 3-0 in the series, Miami lost Game 4 by 17 points, but we don’t see them getting blown out like that again.
Miami knows they can’t let Boston get momentum here, so they should be coming out with one goal in mind- silencing the home crowd. They need to come out fast and take the energy out of the building.
They may not win the game, but they should keep it close, and eight points is a lot in any game.
In Jimmy we trust.
Rebel’s Pick: Heat +8 (-105) @ 1U
