To our Investitute Family – Ron Ianieri

Dear Investitute Family,

Investitute Co-Founder and Lead Educator Ron Ianieri passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was surrounded by his family and close friends. He was 54 years old.

“Our partner, friend, and colleague Ron Ianieri was an extraordinary force in options education,” Co-Founder Dirk Mueller-Ingrand said in an announcement to the Investitute team. “Ron co-founded Investitute with the express purpose of fighting for the individual investor while providing quality education and guidance for our members.”

Ron Ianieri graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a degree in Finance and started his career on the floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. He worked on the Foreign Currency Options Floor before moving to the Equity Options Floor for Cooper, Neff & Associates. Throughout his career, Ron developed renowned options education content and authored the book “Option Theory and Trading,” becoming one of the industry’s leading educators and mentors with Investitute.

We want to recognize the immense contributions Ron’s educational leadership brought to the Investitute community. A consummate professional, Ron assembled and leaves behind a deep bench of talented educators to ensure that our guiding principles remain intact and that our vision continues.
