Jon Najarian Sees Unusual Option Activity in $TRIP & $NWL

On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian cited unusual option activity in $TRIP & $NWL.

Jon is seeing unusual activity in TRIP, as traders purchased 5,500 of the January $60 calls from 4.40-4.50. Jon bought these calls and will be in them for several months.

In NWL, traders were buying up 10,000 of the January $23 calls from 2.40-2.60. Jon bought these calls and plans to hold them for a few months as well.

Jon also provided an update on VMW, which he cited last Thursday, noting that the stock made an almost 6% move higher today after its earnings report and a raised price target by BMO to $155. Those July $150 calls were bought for as high as 7.75 today, more than double their purchase price.

Jon updated XLNX as well, which he noted yesterday, citing those June $70 calls were purchased for as high as 1.91 today, about triple their purchase price.
