Jon Najarian Sees Unusual Option Activity in $XLE, $RUN and $TWTR

On today’s CNBC Halftime Report, Jon Najarian is seeing unusual option activity in $XLE, $RUN and $TWTR, plus updates on $KWEB and $BABA.

In XLE, traders are buying up 10,000 of the 02August $67 calls for $0.44 as part of a bullish spread. Jon bought these calls and plans to hold them until around the July expiration.

In RUN, traders are buying up 2,600 of the January $19 calls for $2.75 to $3.20. Jon also bought these calls, noting with the longer time horizon, these calls may be more of an investment.

And in $TWTR, Jon is seeing buying of 5,000 of the 12July $36.50 calls for $0.50 to $0.54. Jon also bought these calls, noting he’ll be in them until around their expiration, but will use discipline if they move quickly.

Jon then updated his positions in $BABA from June 12 and $KWEB from June 25, noting that he has taken off his positions on strength.
